A small note from me, James Allison, the manufacturer.  People are always asking me why I say our colloidal silver products are the best, and I tell them that it's because I care about them.  They usually get a perplexed look in their eyes so I explain further...

...  You see, it's my attitude about the whole thing, I truly believe in the benefits of colloidal silver because I've seen what it can do, to me, my customers, my friends, peoples pets, my enemies, just about everybody that you can imagine.  And to be honest about it, I really don't care if you buy your colloidal silver or generator from me, or from somebody else.  The thing that I do care about, is that you at least get  one!  That's right, I really don't care if you buy your products from me or somebody else, just so long as you get them from somebody!   Now let me explain how this all ties in.  It's because I care about you, and I care about the colloidal silver products that you're getting as well.

I really can't say how my products compare to every other one on the market, because making colloidal silver is done pretty much the same way by everybody.   Sure, there's different types of power, be it AC or DC, 15 or 27 or 36 volts, different ways of producing, be it with saline or without, using heated water or room temperature water, the list of different ways can go on and on.  But the truth of the matter is this, when you shoot a certain amount of voltage thru two pieces of silver in a distilled water environment for a certain amount of time, you're gonna get colloidal silver!  The only real difference is going to be the amount of time that it takes, the parts per million, whether there are any other things added (like saline), and how easy it is to make!

I know that with my colloidal silver that I make and sell, it is fresh because I make each order as it comes in, it is about 5ppm, and there's no additives in it, not even saline solution!  (although I do use saline in my own for personal use at times, just because I don't want to wait 45 minutes when I run out, and I know that with saline I can make it in only 5 minutes.)!

My generators that I make and sell are quality products that I take great pride in.  Each one is tested before it leaves my doorway so that I know you are getting a product that will do what it should.  I'm sure that most of the other colloidal merchants out there are doing the same, but that's where we go back to caring.  You see, I care, therefore I will do everything in my power to make sure that when I send you a batch of colloidal silver, a colloidal silver generator or any of my other products, that you are getting something that will benefit you!

Even if you don't buy your products from me, I will still be more than happy to talk with you about what you did buy, answer any questions that I am capable of, and try to help you out as much as I can.  Why would I do this?  If you don't know the answer to this then you need to go back to the top of this letter and read it again  :)

There are many new people and new companies making colloidal silver generators and putting them on the market, And they all say theirs is the best.  Well, I'm here to tell you that they DON'T have the best, and the only reason they say they have the best is because they need to figure out a way to get more money out of you, just like the pharmaceutical companies do with antibiotics and such!  It really irks me that they play on peoples ignorance so they can charge 80 to 600 dollars for a 30 to 40 dollar process!  This is the place that I prove them wrong.  Their quotes will be in RED and my disproof's will be in DARK BLUE.  If you see something on another site, that makes you question if theirs is actually better, please email me so I can quote them here, and disprove them.

They say "High Voltage AC generators are better than Low Voltage DC generators".

This one is total bull.  It is a well known fact that the AC (alternating current) generators pump positive, negative and neutral silver particles into your solution.  While silver that does not have a positive charge to it is still beneficial, it's just not as beneficial as having all the particles positively charged.  Why can't they just be honest?  In an AC powered operation as some others are promoting, where the polarity is constantly switched, many undesirable things may happen; it is known that in all electro-colloidal silver generating processes, some charge stripping of silver ions does occur as they come in contact with the cathode, resulting in their gaining electrons, and the resulting reduction to atomic silver particles (without the charge that is said to produce the pathogen disabling effect.) In a DC system, these reduced metallic particles remain as a grayish 'sludge' buildup on the surface of the cathode, and eventually are very visible at higher current levels. In a system where the polarity is switched constantly, this sludge is propelled and dispersed back into the water continuously, as evidenced by the 'clean electrodes' spoken of.

Mechanical effects of re-dispersal of plated out silver "sludge" from the cathode will occur at higher concentrations and especially at higher currents, especially if AC is used, resulting in much coarser, uncharged metallic silver particles than may be desired floating about in your product. Filtering with good lab quality filter media may be able to remove some of this "non-ionic" silver; settling of most of the really larger particle "clumps" might also occur within 72 hours, I'd estimate, if the particles are not too fine. I guess the question is this; are the positively charged colloidal silver ions, (as produced in a DC process), what you want in your product, or do you want non-charged 'non-ionic' metallic silver particles, as produced in the AC processes? From what I have researched and what I understand at this time, I'd stay with Dr. Becker's recommendations myself, and try to produce the positively charged Colloidal Silver Ions with a DC process.

[To summarize this for the technically inclined] please consider carefully that, just as positively charged silver ions are generated into the system at the anode, they are attracted to the negatively charged cathode. Many stay in the colloidal suspension, but as the concentration of silver ions build up, and the current flow through the system increases, more and more silver ions are drawn to, and come in contact with the cathode. When they do this, they are stripped of their positive charge, and 'plate out' on the surface of the cathode as a visible 'sludge', but do not bond to the surface structure - they accumulate as larger groups of loosely bonded, uncharged silver particles. If what I understand Dr. Becker and others to be saying is true, these uncharged silver particles, what I refer to as the 'silver sludge' formed at the cathode, should be removed if possible from your finished product.

Using a DC power source, with no polarity reversal, is my strong recommendation (and that of many others) for predictably generating positively charged colloidal silver particles (biologically active silver ions) in your product, while controlling silver 'sludge' dispersal problems.  [Note that this DC supply can be produced either from an AC source, rectified, regulated, and filtered, or from a battery supply.]  Electroplaters have long known that a well rectified DC power source was required to generate and manipulate metallic ions in their processes to achieve the desired results.

They say "Ours makes Colloidal silver in 5 minutes".

Well, so do mine!  The only problem is that you need to add saline solution in order to make colloidal silver that fast,  and you're not going to get pure colloidal silver if you use saline.  Please realize that with a colloidal silver generator from Sunstone Herbals, you can make colloidal silver either WITH or WITHOUT saline, in other words, you have options!

 

They say "Don't buy a generator where you "need" to add a saline solution".

I really don't know what they are trying to prove here, as there is no colloidal silver generator on the market that "requires" saline, and every generator on the market will make colloidal silver with, or without saline.  The problem here I guess is that there are some people who have either stolen their generator designs, or are just plain ignorant and have no clue about the process that they are trying to sell.  To read my opinions on the saline debate, click here.  Please make sure that the generator you buy has instructions for making both saline and non-saline colloidal silver, as you can make some very potent solutions with saline, that can be life saving in certain situations.

 

They say "Ours is better because it limits current".

I say they should tell you the WHOLE truth!  What they fail to say, is that if you time your process within well established time frames, you don't need to worry about current!  Some people that make generators have a small light or something else like resistors and diodes and other electronics that limit the current to 40ma (milliamps) or so, and say theirs is better because of this, and they go on to explain why it's better.  What they don't tell you is that if you are making colloidal silver, and want to end up with 20ppm or less, you most likely will never go above 10ma!  So my question is why put in the extra resistors and electronics to limit the current to 40ma when it's never even going to get that high!
